Kids Say the Darndest Things

Justin was a little over exuberant while we were play fighting and ended up punching me in the face.

Me: "OUCH! Watch what you're doing!"

Justin: "What?"

Me: "You punched me!"

Justin: "N-o-o-o-o-o-o! I didn't punch you...I just high-fived you in the face!"

Mini-Outlaws

Thanks to me, Danika's birthday at Maplewood Farms turned into the shootout at the O.K. Corral...I don't think her Mom was too impressed with me for encouraging gun fights among the 4 to 6 year olds. Aww heck, if it doesn't fire a laser bolt or a death ray, kids these days don't consider it to be a real weapon anyway.

Seems so rare these days that I star in ANY pictures, what with the kids hogging the spotlight, I figured I'd post a rare one of yours truly, setting up the kids' tent at our company picnic.

Go Fly A Kite

A beatiful, slightly breezy day at New Brighton Park was the perfect time for flying kites. Justin really got the hang of it after awhile and had the highest kite of the day by a country mile. Brooks...well...I think she liked the running part more than the flying part!

Nana and Papa's Visit

Lynn Valley Suspension Bridge
